Paul is a licensed, second generation REALTOR, with an extensive background in Technology and Internet marketing. He began using the Internet, and all its mysteries to present and market real estate (among other things) in 1997, and has continued, more or less, ever since. He became Licensed as a REALTOR® in BC in 2007 and has worked with clients in a wide variety of areas including Nelson, Castlegar, Trail, Salmo, the Slocan Valley, Kaslo, and a number of other small (but awesome) communities in-between. Paul began focusing on video services for Sellers and Buyers in 2010, and was a founding partner (and defacto marketing director) of the Property Lab Team, Nelson and Nelson Rural’s, most successful real estate team for a number of years (KREB statistics, transaction sides 2013-2014).
In January of 2015 Paul and his partners closed the Property Lab Team and he’s re-launched his business putting an even more acute focus on the video tools that had so contributed to his Buyers’ and Sellers’ past success. Paul is excited to continue to innovate and works hard to put his powerful tools for making good decisions in real estate in more and more savvy customers’ hands.
Local Industry Involvement
In addition to his real estate practice Paul also takes a very active hand in the area of organized real estate and community and home owner advocacy. In 2012 he became one of the youngest-ever Presidents of the Kootenay Real Estate Board, a role that allowed him to advocate a number of important changes in how Kootenay REALTORs were able to better serve their clients. He continues to serve as co-chair of KREB’s Technology Committee and is committed to making property transactions as efficient, fair, and transparent as possible.
Provincial & National Profile
In January of 2015 Paul was elected by the REALTORs of BC and the Yukon to be their Regional Director to the Canadian Real Estate Association CREA for 2015-2016. In March he will join a group of 15 other directors on CREA’s governing board where he’s committed to diligently continue his work on behalf of 100,000+ members of the industry in promoting REALTOR® professionalism, education, and accountability, and pledges to act as a strong voice for BC and Yukon communities and property owners with the Federal Government and its various agencies on matters that affect us all.
